Another GR Yaris Gen 2 Auto – Remotely Tuned via EcuTek 🇨🇭➡️🇬🇧

We’ve just wrapped up another EcuTek tune on a GR Yaris Gen 2 Auto, remotely tuned from the UK for a customer in Switzerland.

This build highlights just how effective modern remote tuning has become. Even with the car based overseas, we were able to deliver a fully bespoke calibration using EcuTek.

Vehicle Modifications

The GR Yaris came equipped with a strong selection of supporting hardware, providing an excellent foundation for tuning:

  • GPF delete
  • DO88 intake kit
  • Airtec intercooler
  • Inoxcar exhaust system

These upgrades significantly improve airflow, charge cooling, and exhaust efficiency, allowing us to optimise the calibration and unlock additional performance.

Remote Tuning with EcuTek

Using EcuTek, we carried out the full tuning process remotely, working closely with the customer through datalogging and calibration revisions. This allowed us to fine-tune the setup specifically for this vehicle and its modifications.

The end result delivers:

  • Increased power output
  • Higher torque throughout the rev range
  • Optimised boost and fueling

All achieved without the vehicle ever leaving Switzerland.
