BMW 316i Gets a Suspension Refresh at Whifbitz

We recently had this BMW 316i in the Whifbitz workshop for a much-needed suspension refresh. The car was treated to a set of Direnza lowering springs, and the transformation is impressive.

Not only do the new springs completely enhance the stance and appearance of the 316i, but they also bring a massive improvement in handling and road feel. The lowered ride height sharpens cornering response and adds that extra touch of sportiness without compromising comfort.

On the customer’s next visit, we’ll be fitting Bootmod3 and mapping it on our 4WD Dynojet rolling road. Power increases on the N16 BMW engine are huge — with just a Stage 1 map, it’s possible to see almost double the factory horsepower.
