BMW M3 in the Whifbitz Workshop
This BMW M3 came into our workshop after the customer reported issues with the power delivery and a gearbox fault causing lag when downshifting.
On the dyno, the car produced only 442whp (514bhp) with poor torque delivery. Interestingly, it already had a custom ECU map, along with catless downpipes and drop-in air filters, but it clearly wasn’t performing as expected.
To resolve this, we removed the existing map and installed a Bootmod3 Stage 1 OTS map together with a GTS gearbox tune.
The difference was immediate:
- Power delivery fully restored
- Now producing 484whp (561bhp)
- Gains of +47bhp over its previous setup
The car is now driving exactly as it should, with sharper response and smooth gearbox performance.
