BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition Upgrade at Whifbitz

We had a real treat in the Whifbitz workshop today — the stunning and ultra-rare BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition rolled in for a performance makeover.

This limited-edition model was built to commemorate BMW’s dominance in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) series and stands as a true motorsport-inspired masterpiece. With only 200 units produced worldwide, it’s one of the rarest M cars ever made. Featuring factory-fitted carbon aero components, carbon ceramic brakes, roll cage, Recaro bucket seats, water injection, and a track-focused interior, this is a collector’s dream with real racing pedigree.

To further enhance this rare beast, we carried out the following upgrades:

  • Whifbitz Single Midpipe – allowing freer exhaust flow and a richer, more aggressive sound.
  • MMX Performance Air Filters – boosting airflow and throttle response.
  • MHD Tuning Stage 1 Map – unlocking hidden performance potential.

After the upgrades, power jumped from 474bhp to an impressive 523bhp. The increase in performance is matched by an even more exhilarating exhaust note — now deeper, sharper, and unmistakably race-bred.
