We had this lovely BMW M4 Competition F83 convertible in the Whifbitz workshop a few weeks ago for some minor tuning work.
So the first thing we did was to strap the M4 on our Dynojet dyno to get a baseline power figure, we always like to do this to make sure its producing the correct power before we start any mods. As you can see from the dyno graph below its making 388whp which is 452bhp which is about what we normally see on the BMW M3/4 Competitions when completely standard.

The first upgrade part we fitted was our Whifbitz single midpipe, this removes the secondary cats and gives the car a much more aggressive exhaust note, available to purchase on our website here Garage Whifbitz 3.5″ Stainless Steel Single Midpipe BMW M3 & M4 F8X – Garage Whifbitz

We also fitted a VRSF front mount intake kit which places the filters directly behind the front grill. Mounting the filters behind the grills increases induction sound and prevents heat soak from the radiant heat in the engine bay. These are on our website here VRSF Front Facing Air Intakes 2015+ BMW M3 & M4 F80 F82 S55 – Garage Whifbitz

Next step was to get the BMW M4 back on the dyno to install an MHD stage 1 off the shelf map and see what extra power it will make and as you can see below power has jumped to 457whp which is 531bhp, thats a 79bhp gain in power!
