This week at Whifbitz, we had something truly special in the workshop — a Toyota Celica GT-Four WRC, an icon of rally heritage and one of the most recognisable performance cars of the 90s.

A True Rally Legend
The Celica GT-Four WRC isn’t just another JDM performance car — it’s a piece of motorsport history. Built to dominate the World Rally Championship, these cars are known for their turbocharged power, all-wheel-drive system, and unmistakable styling.
Seeing one come through the doors is always a highlight for the team.
The Job: HKS SQV Blow-Off Valve Installation
The customer brought the car in for an upgrade to an HKS Super Sequential (SQV) blow-off valve — a popular choice for turbocharged setups.
We carefully removed the existing setup and installed the HKS SQV, ensuring everything was fitted correctly and operating as it should.
Why Upgrade to an HKS SQV?
For turbocharged cars like the GT-Four, a quality blow-off valve plays an important role in keeping everything running as it should. The HKS SQV is a well-known option that’s widely used across performance builds.
It’s a straightforward upgrade that complements the car without taking away from its original character.
