Replica Cobra Rover V8 in the Whifbitz Workshop

We recently had a stunning replica Cobra Rover V8 in the Whifbitz workshop to sort out some running issues. This car doesn’t just perform well — it looks absolutely fantastic and always turns heads in the workshop.

The first job was fixing a blowing exhaust manifold. Once that was taken care of, we strapped the Cobra onto our dyno to check power and air-fuel ratios. The readings showed the mixture was running lean on one bank.

On closer inspection, we discovered the carburettor was leaking. We rebuilt it, tuned everything in properly, and got the V8 running as it should.

The result? This gorgeous Cobra is now running perfectly and producing a healthy 234bhp — a great match for its classic looks.
