The Toyota GR Corolla is one of the most exciting modern performance hatchbacks ever produced by Toyota – and also one of the rarest cars on UK roads. Officially never sold in the UK, the GR Corolla is a model we import directly, allowing UK enthusiasts access to a truly special machine.
At Whifbitz, we’re currently building one in-house, combining proven hardware, motorsport-level engine upgrades, and chassis enhancements to create a GR Corolla that delivers serious power, sharper handling, and a far more aggressive stance.
GR Corolla – Rare in the UK, Supported by Proven Expertise
Although the GR Corolla is rare in the UK, its G16E-GTS drivetrain is shared with the Toyota GR Yaris. This is a huge advantage, as Whifbitz is the largest and most experienced GR Yaris tuning company in the UK, with years of hands-on development, track testing, and high-power builds.
That experience translates directly to the GR Corolla, allowing us to confidently push the platform while maintaining reliability and drivability.
Engine & Power Upgrades
To unlock the full potential of the GR Corolla, we’re fitting a comprehensive package of intake, airflow, valvetrain, and engine management upgrades:
- Forge Motorsport intercooler and pipe kit
- Forge Motorsport recirculating valve
- Forge Motorsport turbo inlet adaptor
- Eventuri carbon intake system
- Syvecs standalone ECU
- Kelford 267A camshafts and valve springs
- Whifbitz race downpipe and midpipe
This combination significantly improves airflow, thermal efficiency, and engine control, creating a solid foundation for safe, repeatable high performance.
Chassis, Braking & Stance Improvements
Power is only half the story. To ensure the GR Corolla handles as well as it goes, we’re also upgrading the chassis and braking system:
- Eibach lowering springs – improving stance and lowering the centre of gravity
- 20mm wheel spacers – for a wider, more aggressive track presence
- Hosetechnik braided brake lines – delivering improved pedal feel and braking consistency
The result is a GR Corolla that feels more planted, more precise, and looks every bit as serious as it performs.
