Toyota GR Yaris – Airtec Intercooler, GPF Delete & Ecutek Custom Remap

We recently had this stunning Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz workshop for a few performance upgrades.

This car already came to us with some tasty mods — an aftermarket exhaust system (brand unknown) and an Airtec intake kit. The owner wanted to take things a step further, so it was booked in for an Airtec intercooler and hard pipe kit, GPF delete pipe, and a custom Ecutek remap.

Before the Tune

Once the parts were fitted, we ran the car on our dyno to see what it was putting down before tuning.
It made an impressive 243whp (294bhp) — very healthy numbers for the setup, and the cold weather is helping as the intake temps are cooler, which always benefits performance.

After the Ecutek Remap

We then carried out a custom remap using the Ecutek tuning platform, optimizing power delivery, torque, and drivability.

After tuning, the GR Yaris now produces a strong 276whp (333bhp) — a fantastic gain of nearly 40bhp over the base run!

This setup completely transforms the car, giving a noticeable increase in power and torque throughout the rev band, while retaining everyday drivability.
