Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz Workshop for Mods!
The Toyota GR Yaris is already an incredible hot hatch straight from the factory, but when it came into the Whifbitz workshop, the owner wanted even more performance and refinement. This particular car already had an impressive list of modifications fitted before it arrived, and we took it to the next level with a fresh round of upgrades.
Existing Mods on Arrival
The GR Yaris rolled into our workshop already fitted with:
- HKS exhaust system
- HJS sports cat
- Whifbitz GPF pipe
- Ecutek map (from elsewhere)
- Kelford valve springs
- Wagner intercooler
With this setup, the car was making 273whp (329bhp) at the wheels.
Power & Performance Upgrades
To push the performance further, we fitted a range of new power mods:
- Airtec turbo elbow and turbo intake pipe
- Midland Turbo hybrid turbo
- Eventuri carbon intake kit
These upgrades allow the car to breathe more efficiently while supporting greater airflow and power potential.
After the upgrades and a custom remap, the GR Yaris is now producing:
- 302whp (363bhp)
That’s a healthy jump from the original 273whp (329bhp) it arrived with – a gain of around 34bhp at the wheels.
Supporting Mods & Enhancements
Alongside the performance work, we also fitted and carried out the following:
- Whifbitz mirror risers
- Oil and filter change using Millers Oils
- Whifbitz horn upgrade
- MOT test
- Full wheel alignment
These ensure the car not only performs at its best but is also road-ready and reliable.
