Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz Workshop – Kelford Cams & Valve Springs Upgrade

We’ve recently had a Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz workshop for installation of Kelford performance camshafts and uprated valve springs.

The GR Yaris is an impressive car straight from the factory, but with the right supporting hardware, there’s still more performance available—particularly at higher RPM once tuned.

Why Upgrade to Kelford Cams?

Kelford are renowned for their high-quality, motorsport-developed camshafts, and their GR Yaris profiles are designed to improve airflow while maintaining excellent drivability when paired with suitable ECU calibration.

This upgrade allows for:

  • Increased airflow through the engine

While this vehicle will be tuned at a later date, from experience we typically see gains of around 20bhp on Toyota GR Yaris models running Kelford cams and valve springs once correctly calibrated.

As always, final results depend on supporting modifications and the quality of the ECU calibration.
