We had this lovely Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz workshop recently for a load of mods getting it ready for some serious track use.
So lets cover the power side of things first, this car arrived with 272bhp and left with a stonking 351bhp from just bolt on mods and a custom remap on our dyno, check the list of parts fitted below:
- HKS exhaust system
- Whifbitz resonated stainless steel GPF pipe
- Eventuri carbon intake kit
- Airtec Motorsport intercooler kit
- Airtec Motorsport big boost pipe kit
- Kelford EZ cams
- Kelford valve springs
- Ecu remap using Ecutek which comes with 2 switchable maps, rolling anti lag and flat foot shifting included



We’ve also fitted some nice dress up parts and upgrades to enhance the look of the engine bay and improve engine performance:
- Whifbitz carbon engine cover
- Whifbitz carbon cooling plate
- Airtec header tank
- Airtec catch tank
- Verus Engineering red cap set
- Pro Hoses radiator red hose set
- HKS carbon fuse box lid



The brakes have been upgraded with:
- Porterfield R4 race brake pads which will provide better and more consistent stopping power with improved pedal feel
- Hel Performance braided brake lines
- Hel Performance carbon brake pad shims which limit heat transfer into the caliper
- Millers high temp fluid
- String Theory front brake ducts
- BCB upgraded caliper pistons and high temp seals, the Toyota seals melt under hard usage!
Other mods fitted include:
- Lamspeed Racing baffled sump to stop oil starvation
- CANchecked display so the owner can see all of the engine data required and it looks cool too
- Coolerworx short shifter making the gear changes faster
- Cusco front and rear tow eyes
- Turbosmart dualport BOV to make some nice noises!




- Whifbitz VS style carbon fibre vented bonnet to keep the engine bay cooler
- Whifbitz red carbon bonnet damper kit






Inside the car we’ve fitted a SW Motorsport rear half cage, rear brace for extra stiffness and safety and its finished off with a rear seat delete along with a fire extinguisher too!
