Toyota GR Yaris 323BHP Remap with Ecutek Tuning Software

Another GR Yaris has been in the Garage Whifbitz workshop this week for a performance upgrade using the powerful Ecutek tuning software. Already running a solid list of supporting mods, this little rally weapon was ready for some extra power.

Current Setup

This GR Yaris came to us already equipped with:

  • Airtec Intercooler (IC) – keeping charge temps cool and consistent.
  • GPF Delete – improving exhaust flow.
  • Remus Exhaust System – unleashing a more aggressive tone.
  • Turbosmart Blow Off Valve (BOV) – providing boost control and reliability.
  • MST V1 Intake – improving airflow and induction noise.

The Tune

With the hardware upgrades in place, we carried out an ECU remap using Ecutek software, perfectly tailored for this setup. Running on 99 RON fuel, the map safely extracts more power and torque while keeping drivability smooth and responsive.

Dyno Results

On our dyno, the GR Yaris produced the following figures:

  • Before remap: 230whp (≈279bhp at the flywheel)
  • After remap: 268whp (≈323bhp at the flywheel)

That’s a fantastic gain across the rev range, making this hot hatch feel even more lively and rewarding to drive. Power is shown at the wheels on the dyno graph below.

Exterior Modifications

This GR Yaris doesn’t just perform well – it looks the part too, with a range of exterior upgrades:

  • Whifbitz VS Style Carbon Vented Bonnet – aggressive styling with improved cooling.
  • Carbon Vented Front Wings – reducing weight and enhancing airflow.
  • Garage Vary Rear Spoiler – motorsport-inspired downforce and style.
  • Toms Racing Rear Bumper Vents – unique detail.
  • TRD Front Spoiler and Side Skirts – sharper lines and added aero presence.
  • Japan Racing Wheels – giving a bold, purposeful stance.
  • Gen 2 rear lights – updated and a more modern look.

Interior Enhancements

The owner has also fitted a number of driver-focused interior upgrades, including:

  • Cobra bucket seats – for improved support and reduced weight.
  • Coolerworx short shifter – delivering precise, mechanical gear changes.
  • Suede steering wheel – enhancing grip and giving a motorsport-inspired feel.
  • SW Motorsport rear cage and strut brace with false floor – adding rigidity, safety, and a race-inspired finish.
