This Toyota GR Yaris is back with us at Garage Whifbitz for another exciting round of upgrades, taking performance to the next level.
Having previously visited us for an EcuTek custom remap, this car has now returned for a more advanced setup. The latest upgrades include a Syvecs ECU, Whifbitz resonated GPF pipe, and Kelford 267-A camshafts with upgraded valve springs — a combination designed to unlock even more performance from the GR Yaris platform.
Existing Modifications
When the car first came to us, it was already equipped with a number of high-quality aftermarket parts, including:
- Milltek GPF-back exhaust system
- Forge Motorsport intercooler
- Forge Motorsport intake kit
Previous Performance Gains
As with all vehicles we tune, we carried out a baseline power run to ensure everything was performing correctly before starting any mapping work.
On its previous visit, the GR Yaris produced:
- 216whp (263bhp)
- 233 lb/ft torque
After completing the EcuTek custom remap, the results were:
- 266whp (321bhp)
- 290 lb/ft torque
A strong improvement that significantly enhanced the driving experience.
Latest Upgrades & Results
With the addition of the Syvecs ECU, upgraded cams, valve springs, and our resonated GPF pipe, this GR Yaris has now taken another big step forward.
It is now producing:
- 291whp (350bhp)
This represents a substantial increase over its previous figures and demonstrates just how capable the GR Yaris platform is with the right combination of parts and tuning.
