Toyota GR Yaris Tuned at Whifbitz – 333BHP Result

Another GR Yaris through the Whifbitz workshop for tuning and mapping!

Spec on Arrival

This GR Yaris came in with the following parts already fitted:

  • Akrapovic exhaust system
  • Akrapovic GPF pipe
  • Eventuri carbon intake

A nice setup that already improved flow and sound, but it was still running the stock intercooler and an older tune.

Work Carried Out at Whifbitz

We fitted a new Airtec intercooler to help manage intake temps and support reliable power under hard use.
With the hardware fitted, we ran the car on the dyno to get a base figure before tuning — it made 293BHP.

We then carried out an Ecutek custom map (tuned on our in-house dyno here at Whifbitz), optimising boost control, fuelling, ignition and torque management to suit the new setup.

After mapping, the car produced 333BHP, with a noticeable improvement in mid-range torque and smoother power delivery across the rev range. Dyno graph below shows power at the wheels.

The combination of Akrapovic exhaust, Eventuri intake, and our Ecutek tune makes a big difference to how this GR Yaris drives — more power, better throttle response, and stronger performance throughout the rev range.
