Toyota Soarer ZF 8 speed

We had this Toyota Soarer 1JZ-GTE VVTi fitted with a ZF 8 speed gearbox conversion in the Whifbitz workshop earlier this week.

It was booked in to diagnose an issue with the gearbox as it had a load of errors on the Turbolamik transmission control unit. This turned out to be a very badly soldered in board inside the gearbox causing multiple faults. So in went a new board and replacement mechatronics unit as the old one was so badly damaged from the bad solder job and now its all working as it should.
