TVR Cerbera Revived: 338bhp After 15 Years Without an Update

A stunning TVR Cerbera 4.0-litre Straight Six rolled onto the Whifbitz dyno this week for a much-overdue remap. It’s running a Syvecs S6 ECU, but amazingly it hadn’t been updated in around 15 years. As you can imagine, the software, strategies and available features have evolved massively since then.

Once we brought everything up to date and applied the latest Syvecs features, the difference was night and day. The Cerbera now drives far more smoothly, responds better across the rev range, and delivers its power much more cleanly. Final figures came in at a healthy 338bhp, and the car feels every bit as strong as the numbers suggest.
