Garage Whifbitz Enter Eurosaloons Race Series

2011 sees a new and exciting change for Garage Whifbitz. Following huge success in the Time Attack series over the past few years including winning the championship for our class, the decision was made to explore other possibilities to bring a fresh challenge to the team this season. We are delighted to confirm our involvement with the BRSCC Euro Saloon and Sports Car Championship which will see the team moving from timed style competition into full on door to door style racing.

The championship itself sees us going head to head will all manner of exotic machinery from various marques, and will take the team to most of the top circuits within the UK. Races last for twenty minutes from a rolling start, and consist of both single and double header events.

The first round of this exciting new series begins on Saturday 9th April at Silverstone, and sees the team experiencing a number of firsts from competing in their first ever double header race weekend, to competing in this style of motorsport. Preparations have been underway for some time over the winter months and 2011 will see a number of revisions and improvements to the cars as with previous years.
