630BHP Fully Modified Toyota GR Yaris

This 2020 Toyota GR Yaris went from having minor modifications to what you see here, a fully modified fire breathing GR Yaris which would be happy on a rally stage!

The customer wanted his Toyota GR Yaris to handle as much power as possible so it had one of our signature full race engines featuring a modified closed deck block for extra strength, Nitto I beam conrods, Nitto forged pistons, CNC ported cylinder head with Supertech valves and bronze guides, Kelford valve springs and Kelford 266/274 camshafts along with an HKS head gasket and Lamspeed Racing H13 head studs. The modifications we’ve done to the engine not only make sure it can be as reliable as possible but it also means it will make the most power it can.

Our Garage Whifbitz GR Yaris turbo kit was the obvious choice to hit the 600bhp target power level our customer wants. This uses the Garrett G25 range of turbos and this particular car has the larger of 2 options, the G25-660 turbo. The kit features a Turbosmart 45mm wastegate, heat protection by Thermomet and Funk Motorsport turbo & wastegate blankets, 3″ downpipe and midpipe.

We’ve installed a Lamspeed Racing inlet manifold with larger throttle body, Whifbitz fuel system which adds an extra fuel pump in the boot along with larger 1300cc Asnu injectors. Our fuel system also includes a flex fuel sensor which allows the use of ethanol fuel in the fuel tank which massively increases the power.

The Kotouc 7 speed sequential billet gearbox dominates the driving experienced, giving the GR Yaris a full on rally car feel with the gearbox whine and clutch less gear changes. It also makes the car massively faster in a straight line with the quicker shift speeds and if you’re using the car on track it will improve your lap time immensely.

The GR Yaris 1.6 litre 3 cylinder turbo engine is making 392whp which is an estimated 467bhp at the flywheel on pump and a crazy 530whp which is an estimated 630bhp at 2.5 bar on E80 fuel.
