Santa Pod 2025 test day

We were back at a Santa Pod test day on Monday to do some more setup work on Lee Burley’s 850bhp Toyota Supra Mk4. We did a couple of test sessions last year improving the car each time and on this visit we’ve done another personal best.

The previous best time we had from last year was an 11 second 1/4 mile but this time we ended the day with a 10.4 at 141mph beating our personal best time by 0.6 seconds! The only changes we made since last time were some minor adjustments to the engine mapping and tweaking the launch and traction control.

This is still a full weight road car which isn’t setup for drag racing, that will be changing for our next test session where we will be fitting some proper drag wheels/tyres and drag dampers to really get the Supra digging into the track off the line to hopefully it get it into the 9’s.
