Brads 2020 Toyota GR Supra A90 was dropped off this week for the following to be fitted:
- Custom Ecutek tuning with 2 switchable maps via the steering wheel, low and high torque
- Wagner Tuning chargecooler inlet manifold
- Whifbitz titanium catless downpipe
- MST intake and elbow kit
- FTP Motorsport chargepipe kit
- Millers 5W40 engine oil and Toyota oil filter
The Supra already had one of our Whifbitz titanium exhaust systems fitted along with a Seibon TD Style carbon rear spoiler and our Whifbitz carbon flappy paddles.
This is the most powerful stock turbo’d Supra we’ve tuned so far and this is down to the Wagner Tuning chargecooler inlet manifold. The OEM chargecooler isn’t up to the job, they suffer really bad with heat soak which causes the inlet air temperatures to soar which then saps the power, and this issue gets worse the more you tune it. So on a more powerful car the Wagner Tuning chargecooler will make a bigger difference, for instance in back to back testing on a hybrid turbo car we saw 50bhp gains in power. This car made 430whp which is an estimated 512bhp at the flywheel, normally we see about 410whp approx.
