Mike Huwens 650bhp Supra

Mike bought this car already modified to the spec you see below and we are now looking after it for him. As you can see it has a huge spec list with no money spared, fantastic Supra this one.

Unfortunately Mikes engine went bang last year, resulting in a melted piston and cylinder head damage. So we were giving the opotunity to give the engine a full rebuild.

Cylinder head all built up ready to be installed now. Complete pain in the backside due to the valve seats having to be machined so it threw all of the valve clearances out. Normally this isn’t an issue with the standard bucket/shim but because this head already has shimless buckets there isn’t a huge size range available. Its all done now anyway.

Also the Mahle pistons and Carillo H Beam rods are assembled with the rings (which have been gapped accordingly), installed on the pistons to.

We are using Mahle pistons on all of our forged engine builds these days, I personally think they are the best piston on the market at the moment and at a great price to, cant beat the spec of them.

Whifbitz 1000cc fuel rail kit

The engine is now refitted back in the car ready for 1000 miles of running in, have fun with that Mike! Once its run in Mike is hoping for around 650bhp approx. Should make for a really nice to use fast road car this one. More updates to come when I have them.
