New twin wastegate manifold going on…

The car has been fitted with one of Garage Whifbitz’s proven twin wastegate manifolds to further improve spool up over our single wastegate version. This time we will be using 2 Turbosmart Compgate 40mm wastegates, these are the new smaller version and as you can see from the pics below they are very compact and lightweight. They also have a screw on top to make it easier to change the wastegate spring if needed.

The car is also having a turbo back titanium side exit exhaust system made. Consisting of a 3.5″ downpipe and midpipe which will then split off with the tailpipes exiting in front of the rear wheels through the side skirts. Should look very trick and especially good with flames spitting out of both sides! It will also be a lot lighter than the previous stainless steel exhaust along with moving the weight inside the wheelbase. And it will make it easier to fit a rear diffuser to the car when the time comes. Pics and more details to come on this as soon as I have them.

We will also be fitting one of the Borg Warner EFR turbos when they become available, cant wait to try these out, more details on this when I have them.
